Master of Education, School Counseling. Albany State University, Albany, GA. (2014)

Bachelor of Science, Psychology. Georgia Southwestern State University, Americus, GA. (2011)

I have been working as a school counselor with Sumter County Schools since August 2015.

Previously, I worked for 3 years as a social worker with youth diagnosed with mental and behavioral health disorders at Aspire Child & Adolescent Services of Aspire Behavioral Health & Developmental Disability Services in Albany, GA.

I am a native of Albany, GA and a graduate of Westover High School, home of the Mighty Patriots! Being the child of parents who are now retired educators, as a small child, my desire was to work with children when I grew up as well. I am happy and so excited that I had the motivation and support from my parents, family members, and friends to accomplish my goal of becoming an educator.  I am grateful for the special opportunity I have to work with the youth of Sumter County Schools every day. I truly believe that letting someone know you care can make a big difference in their life.
